I wanna do a shoot with someone where my scars are showing.
That’d be wonderful.
Today I went to see “Nerds” with my friend Stef and let me tell you, it was EXCELLENT.
I absolutely loved it and it brought back the memories of sophomore year in high school when I used to do PC hardware & repair.
"Nerds" follows the lives of both Bill Gates and Steve Jobs in a quirky, comedic way. From garage geeks to becoming staple contributors to today’s digital age, this was well worth the $25.00!
I definitely have to say I loved the portrayal of both Gates and Jobs.
Gates was the all time nerd, completely friend-zoned by his crush, Sally (who worked at Xerox Parc), who in turn had a crush on Jobs. Gates rose to stardom as Microsoft started to gain recognition and he let power shun the “nerd” in him.
Jobs, on the other hand was apparently a stoner in his early days with revolutionary dreams, it was definitely entertaining. With the breakthrough of Apple, it’s initial start was a success, everyone was in the buzz, but it slowly started to lose its momentum as Microsoft came into the picture. However, nearing the end there was a comeback.
And then was the battle of nerds.
I would honestly go watch this again.
The only thing that made me a bit disappointed was the lack of a young crowd.
I observed mostly adults around their 30s and beyond.
I can say that this would very much appeal to today’s generation.
Well, I don’t want to continue saying anything more, but if you live in the Philadelphia area, you should go check it out. It’s running until December 29th.
